I’m really excited about the release of the new book by Chris Anderson, from The Long Tail blog, and plan to pre-order my copy soon (thinking of many ways to reach out). What is special about this book? Well, to start with, the fascinating factor is the caption for this book. I remember in one of Chris’s blog he asked for better caption for his book.

The caption is “The Future of a Radical Price” and many bloggers are spreading around some of these sentences to market this book, prior to the release (just 2 days more, it’s on July 7th).

The reason why I am writing this short review, prior to the release is that, the editorial review for that book by Amazon. Some of these following lines, not only expresses the scope of future world but also a “New Business Model”.

The costs associated with the growing online economy are trending toward zero at an incredible rate. Never in the course of human history have the primary inputs to an industrial economy fallen in price so fast and for so long. Just think that in 1961, a single transistor cost $10; now Intel's latest chip has two billion transistors and sells for $300 (or 0.000015 cents per transistor--effectively too cheap to price). The traditional economics of scarcity just don't apply to bandwidth, processing power, and hard-drive storage.

Am sure you are also feeling the same. The author explores this radical idea for a new global economy. Can anybody think of a situation, when everything comes for FREE!!!
